• Falcon 9 Returns to Flight!

  After 8 years of no major issues, SpaceX suddenly had an engine failure that led 20 Starlink satellites into a high-drag orbit. The FAA grounded SpaceX to anymore space flights until the problem is fixed. After a few days of investigation, SpaceX claimed that the cause of the engine failure was an oxygen leak that tore through the engine's insulation layer. Review to footage, it was clear this was the case.

Starship Test 5 (IFT-5)

After SpaceX had proven they could land the Super Heavy, they decided to take a huge step forward with flight 5. They will attempt a Super Heavy chopstick midair catch. This is risky because not only are they endangering flight hardware, but ground hardware too. To minimize ground hardware damage, they will first target a spot near the pad, and then pilot the booster to the chopstick arms.
